FIFTEEN: SEASON TWO, EPISODE THIRTEEN - STUFF A SOCK IN IT!

Previously, on Fifteen: All of Season 2 happened! Ashley was sent away to boarding school! Janice couldn't make any friends! Courtney became scandalous pen pals with Jake, while setting up an in-person date with Matt, her absent best friend's ex! Everyone hated Brooke and she knew it! Ashley ran away from boarding school and returned to Hillside! Everyone freaked out over Ashley's return! Ashley and Courtney engaged in a BFF Cold War! Dave became Matt's new emotional punching bag! Brooke gave Stacy too good of a makeover! Matt became insanely jealous over every guy at Hillside liking Ashley! Billy failed to impress as a drummer and no girls wanted to date him! Arseman became lead singer in Dylan's band! Chris was creepy to Ashley, but she started liking him anyway! Courtney's necklace was stolen! Dylan's band had a gig at the Avalon! The girl behind NecklaceGate turned out not to be Janice, but was, in fact, Amanda! So much drama this season!!

Avalon - Main Booth of Major Plot Resolution. Courtney and Arseman discuss the revelations brought about last week that resolved NecklaceGate. Courtney likes having the necklace back, but is bummed that Janice still thinks Courtney thinks she's guilty. Arseman thinks Courtney is being overly dramatic and blowing everything out of proportion. She's not wrong, but Arseman could also care about Janice's fragile state of mind at least a LITTLE bit. No one has seen her and it's the season finale, so it could very well be the case that we find out Janice is dead.

Hillside - Losers Lounge. Chris and Roxanne argue about whether or not Billy can be kicked out of the band. Roxanne is adamant that they get rid of him. Why does she even care, and for that matter - when did she start being a student at this school? Chris knows he doesn't have the votes against Billy, with Dylan and Arseman still against the idea. Roxanne gets mad and storms off. It says a lot when anyone on this show can act crazy enough to make Chris seem slightly reasonable, but there you have it!

Hillside - Stairway to Nowhere. Chris runs into Ashley and she congratulates him on the Avalon gig. They flirt and it's gross. Why is this show making Ashley and Chris a THING? Can Ashley only have angry, jerky boyfriends? She tries to tell him that the band was good, but Chris doesn't want to hear it. She tells Chris he in particular was great and that's more to his liking. They make a date to meet up after school at the Avalon. BARF-O-RAMA!!!

Avalon - Counter of Crime Recaps. Billy comes in and asks Courtney and Arseman if the rumors are true. They confirm that Amanda was the culprit behind NecklaceGate. Billy says he could've told them she wasn't very nice. Oh, calm down, Billy. Just because she didn't want to go out with your stupid ass doesn't mean Amanda is pure evil. Still, he can't believe Amanda would do something like this. Nobody can, because she has no discernible motive to do so. Great job, writers!

Hillside - Losers Lounge. Roxanne walks over to Brooke and sits down. Um... sure.  It's the last episode of the season. Let's pretend these two know each other and are on good enough terms to have a casual conversation. They discuss Amanda and NecklaceGate. It's all anyone can talk about.  Brooke tries to make Amanda's personal shame all about her and Roxanne is not here to deal with that level of bullshit. Roxanne decides that Amanda is almost as horrible as Brooke, but not quite as bad. Brooke is so insulted!

Hillside - Locker Labyrinth. Brooke storms over to Amanda and wants to know why she stole the necklace. There's no reason. We're never going to find out how, or why, or when Amanda took the necklace. No explanation will ever be offered. It's just what happened. After this episode, we'll never hear about it again and Amanda won't make any appearances in Season 3. We accept it and move on. Meanwhile, Amanda is so over Brooke, and tells her to stuff a sock in it! I love that line: Stuff a sock in it!

Hillside - Boys Locker Room. Dave's stalking of Matt leads to him confronting Matt in the locker room. Matt is kinda bored with basketball, now that the team's season has spanned 2 years and 26 episodes of this show. Matt looks depressed, so Dave thinks this is a great time to ask him if he's drinking again. Great idea, Dave! Matt loves talking about his sobriety. He's not drinking, though! Not yet, anyway. Matt confides in Dave that he misses Ashley and wants her back. Dave encourages him to go for it. Terrible advice, Dave! Thanks!

Hillside - Locker Labyrinth. Billy is talking to John about how good the band is and yadda yadda yadda, it's the worst scene ever on this show. Billy tries to tell John that Dylan's band is like the Beatles but John doesn't know who the Beatles were. OH, FOR THE LOVE OF- No more from John. I can't take him. Billy sees Courtney and wanders away from John. Hooray!

Billy wants to drop out of school and dedicate himself fully to the band - just like the Beatles! Courtney tells Billy that the Beatles didn't drop out of high school. Billy is disappointed. He was so ready to give up on Hillside. Suddenly, Amanda is standing there with them and Courtney and Billy feel hella awkward about it. Amanda tries to tell them they are horrible people for how they feel about her right now. Hold on. They ARE horrible people, but not because of how they feel about NecklaceGate. They try to keep Amanda calm, but she storms off in a huff. Amanda made absolutely no sense in that scene. This season finale is spinning wildly out of control, y'all.

Hillside - Stairway to Nowhere. Leah and John have a pleasant conversation about- Oh, HELL no. These two are alone together in a scene? They are supposed to carry it all by themselves? They can't do it. They're too young. They come up with an idea that they will be a younger band than the Beatles or Teenagers In Love and they are going to sound better and have huge success. Wait, are we gonna have to deal with TWO terrible bands now??

Avalon - Main Booth of Mopey Bandmates. Chris finds Arseman and wants her opinion on the gig. Arseman's opinion is that they are dissecting the gig like it's a dead frog in Biology Class. They should just enjoy that it was fun. Chris presses the issue of Billy being replaced on drums. He wants Arseman on board to dump him, but it's against everything she believes in. One not-horrible person still remains at this school! This is not the news Chris was hoping for, but he couldn't have been too surprised. Don't worry. He still has some tricks up his sleeve!

Hillside - Locker Labyrinth. Just a quick check-in on Janice Watch between Ashley and Courtney. No one has scene Janice all day and she's not answering her phone at home. Thanks for that important update, Ladies!

Dylan's Garage Band. Chris works a new angle to get Billy out of the band with Dylan. He tells Dylan that Jerry won't give them another gig at the Avalon if they keep Billy in the band. Dylan doesn't trust Chris's version of Jerry's words, because he knows Chris will lie to get what he wants. Chris makes his most impassioned plea yet to get Dylan to think about their futures and just get rid of Billy once and for all. Dylan finally seems to come around to the idea, saying he'll talk to Billy. WIll it happen before the end of the season? We're running out of time!

Hillside - Losers Lounge. Another ridiculous scene featuring John. He tries to tell Dave about his stupid new band, but Dave cannot be bothered. But oh - OH! - we are rewarded for our patience with one of the most ridiculous dream sequences ever on this show - and that's saying a lot. The girls are all screaming for John on stage like he's Harry Styles. At least they all seem to be enjoying themselves in this over-the-top fantasy.

Hillside - Locker Labyrinth. Courtney and Janice finally cross paths again. Courtney is elated. Janice was just finishing up with her transfer papers in the office, but heard that Amanda confessed so now she's... not transferring? I have no idea. It's unclear and no one ever explains. Courtney apologizes for jumping to conclusions about Janice's guilt. Janice is just glad that people aren't mad at her anymore. They hug it out! Aww!!!

Dylan's Garage Band. Chris and Dylan are standing around listening to Billy ramble on about how amazing the band is and how they all have a future together. Billy wants to know what Jerry thought, and it becomes WAY too awkward for Chris and he bails. That's such bullshit. He led the campaign to get Billy ousted and he won't even stay around to see it happen? So weak, dude. So weak. That leaves Dylan to break the bad news to him. What does he say? We won't find out until Season 3!

Avalon - Counter of Crushed Hearts. Courtney and Janice are discussing Jake's impending return to school when Matt wanders over looking for Ashley. Matt is going to have to take a number, because Ashley is currently getting warm and cuddly with Chris in the pinball wizard room. Matt, crushed, staggers away. Courtney goes right back into her own thing, enlisting Janice's help in setting up Jake's Welcome Home Party. Never change, Courtney!

Matt wanders over to Ashley and begs her to go out with him again. He wants one more chance with her. WHAT?? Where is this coming from? He must really be desperate to do this. Why on earth would she suddenly want to date him again?  He just needs to make a clean break here. Matt invites her to Jake's Welcome Home party that Friday night, but it turns out she's already got a date - Chris! Matt is FLOORED. He wishes them both the best, but he don't mean it. Ashley is filled with regret and embarrassment for what she's doing with Chris, but she's made this decision for herself and won't take it back. The episode ends, the only way it could end - TO BE CONTINUED.

Next Time on FIFTEEN: Season 3! All bets are off in terms or who's in, who's out and which plotlines will survive!
